Kelly Haley – Office Manager
Kelly has been part of our team for over 12 years. She began as a Dental Assistant in 2008, and due to her progression, has been our Office Manager since 2015. She graduated from LFCC in 2009 with an Associate’s Degree in Administrative Support. Occasionally you will still see Kelly in the assistant’s chair as her talents are spread throughout the office. She is quick to help keep our patients well informed of any treatment that needs to be completed. She also is sure to thoroughly explain things should you have any questions regarding treatment, insurance plans, billing or scheduling. Kelly enjoys spending time with her family - especially her little one, Charlotte.
Julie Shiflett – Receptionist
Julie has been part of Dr. Frederick Broadhead’s team since he bought the practice in 2007. However, her legacy in the building goes back for nearly two decades with previous dentists. She handles multiple tasks at the front desk and is always ready to greet you with a smile. She is quick to call you for an appointment when there is an availability and will go the extra mile to ensure you’re seen in a timely fashion. Julie and her husband, Norman have been Front Royal residents since birth and could tell you anything you need to know about our lovely town. During her leisure, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Ashley Barton - Financial Coordinator
Ashley is the best at what she does. She can answer all of your financial questions and will take the time to explain how your insurance plan may work best for you. While we are not insurance experts, Ashley and the rest of our team can you give the tools that you need to get the most accurate information from your insurance. Ashley always has a smile on her face and loves being part of our awesome team. Ashley enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her dog, Rebel.
Melissa Wilkins - Dental Assistant
Melissa, lovingly known as Missy, has been part of our team for 10 years. She has had 30+ years of experience as being a Dental Assistant. Missy will always keep you laughing and smiling, even when you’re numb! She is a true joy to be around and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Missy also volunteers her time at St. Luke Community Clinic as Dr. Daisy’s assistant. She enjoys being able to give back to our community in that way.
Missy enjoys spending time with her mother as well as her daughter, Katie.
Lori Glascock – Dental Hygienist
Lori has been part of our team for over ten years. She is an excellent hygienist who always goes the extra mile to be sure you are well informed. She graduated from NVCC Annandale in 1989 and received her local anesthesia certification in 2016. She routinely performs regular cleanings, as well as periodontal treatment and maintenance. Her gentle and personable touch is sure to put you at ease.
Lori is a Rotarian and director of the Warren County Backpack Program. She was also voted as Volunteer of the Year for 2017 through the Northern Virginia Daily. She also enjoys spending time with her family and watching her two daughters, Katie and Lacie, grow and learn throughout their teenage years.

Carly Piercy - Dental Hygienist
Carly is an excellent hygienist and an important part of our team. She has a great personality and sense of humor that our patients love. Carly graduated from LFCC in the dental hygiene program. She has been warmly welcomed into our dental family.
She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves her pups!

Susan Daugherty – Dental Hygienist
Susan, lovingly known as Sue, brings a special element to our practice. In 1982 she graduated from Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) with as Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2009, she graduated from Mars Hill College with a Bachelor Degree in Allied Health and completed certification to deliver local anesthesia from NVCC.
Being a native of Northern Virginia, Sue and her husband recently moved to our area. Originally, Sue began as a substitute hygienist for the practice, however, her kind demeanor led Dr. Broadhead to make her a permanent part of our team. She is always quick to be sure anyone has what they need, as well as fully inform her patients of any dental concerns while customizing their home care. Recently, volunteering at St. Luke’s Dental Clinic fulfills her desire to give back to the local community. Along with the rest of the team, Sue welcomes you to the practice and invites you to sit in her chair for your next hygiene appointment.
